Lisa See is the author of the critically-acclaimed international bestseller, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Ms. See was born in Paris but grew up in Los Angeles, spending much of her time in Chinatown. Her first book, On Gold Mountain: The One Hundred Year Odyssey of My Chinese-American Family, was a national bestseller. That success was followed by her first novel, Flower Net, also named a New York Times Notable Book. Other novels include The Interior and Dragon Bones, and her most recent, Peony in Love. Honoring her Chinese heritage, See has written a libretto for the Los Angeles Opera based on On Gold Mountain, which premiered in June 2000 at the Japan America Theatre. She also served as guest curator for an exhibit on the Chinese-American experience for the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, which then traveled to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., in 2001.

Nina Revoyr was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and a white American father, and grew up in Tokyo, Wisconsin, and Los Angeles. She is the author of three novels: The Necessary Hunger; Southland, and The Age of Dreaming. Her writing has been recognized with many honors, including the Ferro Grumley Award and the Lambda Literary Award.
Nina has been an Associate Faculty member at Antioch University, a Visiting Professor at Cornell University, and the Remsen Bird Visiting Writer at Occidental College. She has also worked for more than a decade in the fields of child welfare and public education.

Dinah Lenney, a working actor, is the author of Bigger than Life: A Murder, a Memoir, and the co-author of Acting for Young Actors. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Agni Online, and elsewhere. Dinah teaches in the MPW program at the University of Southern California as well as in the Bennington Writing Seminars.
