Since her breakout performance in Urban Cowboy Debra Winger has been regarded as one of the screen's finest actresses. Her roles in Shadowlands, An Officer and a Gentleman and Terms of Endearment garnered wide praise and three Academy Award nominations.
Her first book, Undiscovered, has just been published. In the book, Winger reveals how she has drawn on her creative talents to transform a successful career into a fulfilling life. She demonstrates that her creative range extends from screen to page, offering an intimate glimpse of an artist wide-ranging in her gifts.
Winger is an advocate for health issues with ongoing work for Sight Savers International, an organization seeking to prevent, cure and provide aid for the visually impaired worldwide. She also works with Hand In Hand Schools, multicultural public schools dedicated to promoting social change and mutual understanding between Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens.
Maia Danziger has been teaching Relax & Write and guided meditation workshops for more than ten years. She runs weekly private classes in Los Angeles and also teaches workshops for a variety of organizations, including hospitals, wellness communities, universities, spas and corporations. A Certified Life Coach, Danziger specializes in working with writers and artists on developing creativity and fulfilling their careers. An Emmy Award winning actress, Danziger has appeared extensively on and off-Broadway, on television, and in film. She is also the founder and former Artistic Director of the Actor's Company Theatre in New York. Diagnosed in 1994 with breast cancer, Danziger developed Relax & Write as a part of her healing process.
